Loos clinches all-around, floor and rings titles; 2025 Senior Men’s National Team Presented by Xfinity named at Winter Cup

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (February 23, 2025) – Riley Loos (El Dorado Hills, Calif./Stanford University) had the lead after day one of men’s competition on Friday, and he finished Sunday in the same position to take the senior men’s all-around title at the 2025 Winter Cup in Louisville. Winter Cup officially concluded Sunday evening with the naming of USA Gymnastics’ 2025 Senior Men’s National Team Presented by Xfinity .
Loos notched a two-day all-around score of 160.850 to be crowned Winter Cup champion. He also was the floor exercise and still rings gold medalist with scores of 27.700 and 27.350, respectively. Frederick Richard (Stoughton, Mass./University of Michigan) was second in the all-around with a two-day total of 159.000, followed by all-around bronze medalist Taylor Christopulos (Layton, Utah/University of Nebraska) with a total of 158.400.
Brandon Dang (San Jose, Calif./University of Illinois) topped the pommel horse standings with a 28.350 to win gold on Day 2, while Colt Walker (Cedar Park, Texas/Stanford University) walked away with parallel bars gold with a 28.250. Crew Bold (Delray Beach, Fla./University of Michigan) led the field on horizontal bar with a 26.900, and Nartey Brady (Los Ranchos, N.M./Eagle Ridge Gymnastics) had the highest vault score with a 28.000.
In junior apparatus competition, Nathan Underhill (Oconomowoc, Wis./Salto Gymnastics Center) won gold on vault (14.000) and rings (12.800), while Adam Lakomy (Roselle Park, N.J./Sunburst Gymnastics) won floor (13.550) and high bar (12.700). Maksim Kan (Muskego, Wis./Salto Gymnastics Center) was the pommel horse gold medalist with a 12.900, and Joey Nieves (Littleton, Colo./5280 Gymnastics) claimed the parallel bars title with a 12.900.
