Crain sisters go 1-2 at 2025 Winter Cup

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (February 23, 2025) – The sisters of Lavi and Vivi Crain (Blue Springs, Mo./Great American Gymnastics Express) won all-around gold and silver, respectively, and accounted for three of four apparatus wins Sunday morning in junior women’s competition at the 2025 Winter Cup in Louisville.
Fourteen-year-old Lavi Craine scored a 52.000 overall to win the all-around title and put up high scores on balance beam (14.000) and vault (13.650; 14.100, 13.200) to win gold on each apparatus. In her junior elite debut, 12-year-old Vivi Crain won all-around silver with a 50.550, also securing floor exercise gold with a 12.750. Addy VanGrinsven (Champlin, Minn./Pacific Reign Gymnastics) slotted in right behind the sisters with a 50.350 to take all-around bronze.
Charleigh Bullock (Spotsylvania, Va./Capital Gymnastics National Training Center) claimed the remaining uneven bars gold medal with a 13.300.
The 2025 Nastia Liukin Cup takes the floor next, where 44 Level 10 women’s gymnasts will vie for a junior and senior national title. The competition will stream live on the USA Gymnastics YouTube channel.
