Indianapolis, Ind. (Feb. 12, 2025) – A total of 25 veterans from last year’s Elite Team Cup are among the 58 athletes who will take part in the 2025 edition of the event, to be held in conjunction with USA Gymnastics’ 2025 Winter Cup and Nastia Liukin Cup.

First held in 2014 as the Elite Regional Championships, the 2025 Elite Team Cup (ETC) will feature six USA Gymnastics men’s Regional teams battling for the Elite Team Cup title February 22 in Louisville, Kentucky. Every team’s eight athletes will compete on each apparatus, with the top six scores on counting toward each team’s overall score.

2025 will be the first Elite Team Cup held since the Regional realignment of men’s artistic gymnastics, which shifted from nine regions to six in 2024. Regions 6, 5 and 4 all have returning athletes in the quantities that match their region numbers. The new Region 6 boasts six returning competitors from 2024, including John Hartrey, Dylan Kramer, Adam Lakomy, Kelly Moriarty, Alex Noel and James Sassine. Region 5 returns five athletes in Devin Gopaul, Maksim Kan, Anthony Ruscheinsky, Kody Tokunaga and Nathan Underhill, while Region 4’s veteran quartet is Gage Kalley, Zac Myers, Eli Osuna and Michael Schneider.

Region 3 (Joseph Hale, Jesse Hanny, Kiefer Hong, Nicholas Kosarikov) and Region 2 (Hunter Croot, Cole Miller, Mason Odom, Bode Ticknor) also have four returnees, while Region 1 has Wyatt Reynolds and Rome Whimpey coming back to the ETC stage.

Hanny, Hong and Kosarikov all were on the victorious Region 3 squad that claimed the 2024 Elite Team Cup title.
